A PRIORITY FOR SANPARKS

OVERVIEW:

Abalone poaching militia swarm Table Mountain National Park day and night. They are a blight and a threat on southern Africa’s number one tourist destination.

PURPOSE

To develop a training program and institute training for the newly selected Ranger SEAM Team to stop Abalone poachers.

METHOD

Consult on patrols and fit into TMNP training program to improve on and increase training building blocks including low-light marksmanship, tactics, combatives and other skills as both designated and determined.

END STATE

4-8 man teams capable of rocky terrain and marine interdiction in both day and night.

Marine Poachers:

THE S.E.A.M. TEAM will be a model for small-team tactics training for Eco Defense Group and SANParks. Thus, we want not only to serve the end-state but to build a program for future training.
