ECO DEFENSE GROUP IS FIRST TO DEPLOY STARLINK TO AFRICA

Eco Defense Group has implemented the new satellite-based communications technology Starlink to four countries, with several more planned.

Each deployment includes solar-power, infrastructure, battery backup and training for implementing use of the tech into strategic intelligence communications to support wildlife protection programs.

EDG plans to expand the delivery, implantation and integration of the units across all programs, to “provide communication capability to remote places where comms were impossible until now.”

Specific locations are kept confidential to preserve the maximum impact of first-wave defense against syndicate-backed wildlife crime.
